Jolie was in a talkative mood that day...

Blah Blah Blah
Once again I wished that someone would invent a device that allows mothers like me to blog using only the power of the mind. I wanted to blog but I just don't have the time! And when I do have the time, I don't have any energy left. :P So my blogs just kept getting piled up so much that I just give up. I think I'll just blog about my daily life and forgo the past few weeks of happenings. Ok here are the simple updates based on what I can remember:
Jolie's spaghetti strap top - sexy huh!
My very 1st mother's day was uneventful and I hate Cobby for not planning anything or getting me anything. He said Jolie was too young to celebrate for me!? Stupid man, just because the baby is little doesn't mean that he cannot show some form of appreciation to me!
Went to eat dim sum with my family on mother's day morning. Jolie looked so small in my brother's arms.
Baby keep having tummy problems lately, which means lots of 'wind', cranky, crying, screaming, farting and not much sleep for baby and I. Many times I think this is a cruel form of punishment for me. Perhaps I have been an evil person in my past life and this is karma for me in this life.
A cute hat for Jolie - she don't really like it though... look at her face.
The stupid humid wheather on some days doesn't help. It's like a sauna in my home and I'm sweating like a pig the whole day, everyday. Plus a screaming and cranky baby, nice. Cobby agrees and said that we could consider moving in the near future. Got mixed feelings about that. On one hand - WHOO HOO!! Finally can get out of this sauna! On the other hand - this is our 1st home, we got married here, our baby's 1st home. Would be kindda sad to leave these all behind.
Sometimes my mother in law drives me nuts. She is always making these IRRITATING baby noises like:
Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh! Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh! Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh!
Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh! Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh! Joooleeee YEEEEEEEYAh!
AhhhGooooo Ahhhh Goooo
And she doesn't know the meaning of privacy. She's always staring at Jolie - even when I'm breast feeding her. -_-
I can't stand her cooking!!!! It's super bland and boring! It's depressing just looking at them.
But - I must thank her for her company, help in taking care of Jolie and cooking and cleaning for me.
Oh I've watched Angels and Demons and I've watched Wolverine. Excellent shows I say, excellent shows. Next would be transformers. :)
Sis is coming back this week and we're going out on Friday, so really looking forward to it.
Initiated the girls to go for aerobics, but in the end I myself couldn't make it. The timing was Jolie's bed time and Cobby lacked the skills to put her to sleep.
ok baby just woke up n crying. so ends my blog. bye

1st Time Jolie Flipped Over
The very 1st time Jolie turned was 18 May, when she was just 3 months plus. I left the room for a moment and when I came back, she was already on her tummy! Oh no! I missed it! So I turned her back and got a camera and got her to turn again. I tried to upload the video but I think the file was too big, so I just couldn't upload! Well, for the next few weeks I keep trying to capture her turning. There were many NG footage as she keep getting her arm stuck! Haha, now that I look back on her videos it looks kind of funny. Haha, so bad. These are videos taken with my handphone. Enjoy.

I like this one, she flaps her arms and kicks her legs when she's excited or happy. Cute.

Jolie's Second Immunization
Did I spell it correctly? Anyway, with the swine flu going around, we had to take our temperature before going into Thomson that morning. Dunno why, the whole clinic was so PACKED! I think they gave patients going for immunization priority cause we only waited for a few minutes and it's our turn!
Dr Keoy was wearing a pretty serious looking face mask. I guess the doctors are at higher risk in times like these. Jolie was very brave! After a physical check up, Dr Keoy pinched her buttocks and gave her a jab. I was so afraid she would scream her head off, but she just cried a little and that was it! Anyway, Jolie is 3 Months old today! She's 5.88kg and 62cm tall! I took alot of photos. Here are the cuter ones!
Jolie in the morning, just woke up...

CATS 2009
With the swine flu, we were expecting the Esplanade to conduct temperature screening, so we reached the theatre more than 30mins earlier. Surprisingly, there wasn't any temperature screening, just a simple contact tracing. I was surprised at the number of foreigners watching the show. We saw Japanese, Koreans, Chinese and Caucasians bringing the whole family along.
Anyway, the show was great! As compared to Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera, there was definitely more dancing in Cats, which was fabulous!
But there was some parts which was a little slow. The group was from England I think, so their accent was quite strong and many times I don't really know what on earth they were singing about! But overall, it was a great show and I enjoyed it tremendously!
My favourite part was "Mr Mistoffelees" where Adrian Ricks did a solo dance. FANTASTIC! Favourite song was definitely the whole group singing and dancing to "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats". It was so upbeat and catchy! I was humming the tune even after the show. Cobby's favourite was "Memory" and he's still singing it at home now. :)
I love it that the Cats (cast) would, during the show, occasionally appear among the audience suddenly and prowl around! During the interval, some of the cats even mingle among the audience, which made everybody, especially the kids super happy. They would be go around like cats, prowling and meowing.
After the show I was humming the song and feel like dancing! I was very thirsty, so we went to the Max Brenner for a cup of super delicious Venezuela milk chocolate and a giant cookie! So rich and chocolately!
What a great way to end a great afternoon!
