Hong Kong Shanghai Trip Part 2

It's Monday morning, but it's the start of our holiday! Unfortunately, Sis still had to work, so we only get to go for a dim sum breakfast together before Sis head off to office.

The rest of the day was non-stop eating and walking! Bro wanted to look at some equipment, so we strolled along 上海街, which is lined with all sorts of wholesale kitchen equipment, from plastic bags to cutlery, and even stoves, ovens and industrial refrigerators! Anyway, like I said, we were eating non-stop!

锅贴 - pan fried dumplings

Fluffy egg tarts with wobbly and creamy centres... So good...

While walking, Jolie just fell asleep and I gently put her onto her stroller. It was pure miracle, because it was the very first time in her life that she actually slept in her stroller! I think it was due to 2 factors: Sleep and Poop. She didn't have enough sleep the day before, and she didn't poop the whole day, which resulted in restless sleep at night. In the morning, she finally pooped everything out, in 3 different batches! So with her tummy cleared, she can finally catch up on factor number 2, which is the Zzzzz....

Anyway, she slept in her stroller while we walked, for close to 3 hours!!! AMAZING!!! How I wish she does that more often. We even got to take a break at a traditional Hong Kong coffee house while she snored on. I got to try another classic Hong Kong dish, Double boiled milk. It's so rich and creamy, like chinese version of creme brulee! Oh, and it's very good for complexion too! :)

Of course, when in Hong Kong, no matter the weather, must always have their iced lemon tea. Consistently good, no matter where you are! How do they do that? Oh and of course, 红豆冰, a traditional drink made of red bean, ice and milk.

After that, Dad gave up and headed back to Sis place. I wanted to go shopping for some more winter clothes for Jolie, so we headed to Whampoa. Not bad, managed to buy some cheap and good stuff for Jolie at their Jusco, including the light jacket she's wearing below. Brother got a really nice coat from Columbia too.

I wanted to find a pair of boots for myself, unfortunately their didn't have my size, so I guess I just have to keep on searching! After dinner we headed back home. The sky turned dark so early! By 6.30pm, it looks like it's 9-10pm, so disorienting! But after a whole day of walking, eating and shopping, we were relieved to reached home early and just relax and watch tv. This is what a holiday is suppose to be!
