Saturday 20 October 2007

Sigh what a relaxing weekend. Went for a haircut in the morning after breakfast and finally got my bob cut! Nowadays can’t even cut my hair without getting into an argument. :P The stupid hairdresser obviously doesn’t understand the meaning of short. I had to request 3 times!

“Cut shorter please” Cut. Cut. Cut.
“I want it shorter please” Cut. Cut. Cut.
“Err… actually can be shorter” Cut. Cut. Cut.

Haha now my head feels so light! Shiok…

Before...

After!

Cobby brought me to have North Indian cuisine for lunch after that. First time having north Indian cuisine. Yummy! Check it out here.

Burp...

After lunch, we went to watch “Day Watch” at Orchard Cineleisure. We didn’t really planned for this in the morning so we went to orchard in our Bermudas and flip-flop slippers. Don’t care lah, felt like a tourist actually. Haha… We had about 20 mins before the show starts so we hopped over to the open air Coffee Club for a cup of ice coffee. It’s so nice to just hang out with Cobby on a Saturday afternoon, sipping coffee and people-watch.

Day Watch is absolutely the coolest show!

Very under-rated! So sad that Golden village only aired it for a week then Cathay to continue showing it in one of it’s cinema only. It’s fantastic! But I think if you didn’t watch Night Watch you would be abit confused; it’s a sequel.

Cobby wanted to get some CIA book he read about in the newspapers, so we went over to Borders after the movie. As usual, we went free & easy and browsed around. I found the creative section and searched for books on DIY interior design. But can’t find anything I like. Cobby even better, he can’t remember the title of the CIA book he wanted, so we just browsed around and left empty handed.

We didn’t know what to have for dinner, so we decided to go for something light. We stopped by the supermarket, grabbed some groceries, snacks and went home to make dinner. Haha we just wanted to go for a haircut in the morning and we ended up reaching home only around 7 plus in the evening.

I made Coco’s Stone Soup and a fried cabbage as a side dish. Very simple, very good. EVERYBODY can do it. Veg out in front of the TV after dinner before turning in. Sigh… such a relaxing day!
